It also looks like its drivers haven't been updated in over three years on your system. An Nvidia GT 630 should be able to carry the game and the earlier EPs, but it's really not strong enough to cope with Pets, Seasons, IP, and ITF very well. On Win 7, I would recommend at least 6 GB total, at least 8 GB would be better.īut the weakest point is your graphics card. The game can call for up to almost 4 GB of RAM itself but Windows and other processes/programs you have running at the same time are going to grab a large chunk of that so the game won't get all of the RAM it needs.
You only have 4 GB of RAM, though and that's tight.
It would have to be really bloated to be affecting loadup times that badly. Whether Save Cleaner will help will depend on the file size (in MBs) of your save's active world nhd file. Which we can do anyway, if you provide some (processor, RAM, graphics card, hard drive). If there is absolutely nothing helpful there, we would have to start talking about the specs of your computer system.
#Sims 3 free store content mod#
Some of it is mod related of course, some is not. Here is a rather extensive collection of things we can do to help improve the game's performance, especially on longer running multi-generational games. But again, store content is not part of that as it's encrypted and handled differently. Maybe 20 seconds shaved off my startup time and then half my content goes missing (user error - meaning me losing patience with the entire procedure, I am sure). Others here can probably advise you on that better than I can, personally even though I have plenty of package based CC I just don't get any benefits from merging. There are ways to split apart sims3pack CC and then re-merge for some kinds of content, this won't work on other kinds.
Merging refers to package based content that is read from a Mods\Packages folder that the player must set up. The dbc files, if any, are your sims3pack CC. The ebc files you see in there are your installed store content. Store content is not part of that procedure, those are sims3packs that are installed by way of the Launcher and already put into bundles in the DCCache folder once installed. Merging package based CC can help with loadup times (not really lag so much) if you can get it to work right.
